(HOOTFIX), identified by tax ID NIT: 901243213-2, with its registered address at Calle 114A #58 65, Colombia, is the data controller for the personal data collected through hootfix.com, its contact forms, and its integrations with social media platforms. This policy is issued in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.

Contact form: name, email address, phone number, company, and the message you send us.
LinkedIn integration: when a member of our team authorizes our application, we receive their LinkedIn identifier, name, profile photo, and an access token that allows us to post on their behalf. We do not collect data from other LinkedIn users, except for public comments made on our posts.
Browsing data: basic technical information (IP address, browser, pages visited) collected via necessary cookies and, if you consent, analytics cookies. - How we use your data
To respond to inquiries and prepare commercial proposals.
To publish and manage content on Hootfix’s LinkedIn accounts and those of team members who have provided authorization.

We only share data with service providers (such as web hosting, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and AI tools used for content creation) under confidentiality agreements, or with authorities when required by law. Some of these providers are located outside of Colombia; in such cases, we ensure that adequate levels of protection are in place. - Retention and security
We retain data for as long as it is necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law. LinkedIn access tokens are stored in an encrypted format; they are not shared and are deleted when a user revokes authorization or ceases to work with Hootfix. - Your rights
You have the right to access, update, rectify, and delete your data, revoke your authorization, request proof of such authorization, and file complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio). You may also revoke our application’s access at any time via your LinkedIn settings (Settings > Data privacy > Permitted services). - How to exercise your rights
